Bálint Losonci operates his tiny organic winery on the slopes of the Mátra hills. Originally from the big city, he moved to the region in the 2000s with his family and now produces wine on 8 hectares. He grows a plethora of grape varieties, including many obscure and ancient grapes such as Turán or Magyar Frankos. His wines are straightforward, easy to enjoy, with a calm, smooth style that reflects both the winemaker and the wine region.
