An elegant and sophisticated blend of 85% Furmint and 15% Hárslevelű, made with minimal human intervention. Hand-harvested and bunch-pressed, then fermented with wild yeasts and aged for two years in immersed barrels. (Immersed barrels are a new type of barrel which produce a softer, less oaky flavor in wine. They are immersed in water before being toasted, removing some of their tannins and harsher wood flavors.)
The result is a smooth and elegant wine with soft notes of pears and peaches followed by a hint of volcanic minerality, a tight, clean structure and a beautiful balance. A natural wine that reflects the Tokaj terroir in the mosr elegant way possible. Bottled unfiltered and unfined.
