Egri Csillag is the white counterpart to Bikavér, and this Superior version shows just how serious and layered the style can be. A blend of classic Eger varieties including Hárslevelű, Olaszrizling, Leányka and Rhine Riesling, each component is vinified separately before blending.
The wine opens with aromas of honey, orange blossom, pineapple and quince. On the palate, fresh acidity drives flavours of yellow apple and citrus, followed by a subtle, silky, honeyed roundness that adds depth without sweetness. Balanced, precise and long, this is a white wine that reflects Eger’s cooler climate and volcanic soils, combining freshness with quiet concentration.
