The area produces great fresh wines and has been a large supplier of wine and sparkling wine for Budapest’s nightlife for centuries. Besides easy-drinking, fresh whites and light reds, the area is also known for its sparkling wine production. Etyeki Kúria has become one of the leading winemakers of the area. The 16-hectare winery focuses on elegant, smooth wines that reflect the best of the area’s fresh climate and limestone soils.
