Konyári Páva 2021

The flagship wine of the Konyári Winery and one of the best red wines in Hungary. Páva is a bold, rich, sophisticated wine with incredible depth. A broad palate of flavours, from black fruits to oriental spices, pepper, cinnamon and more, layers of flavour emerge from this wine.

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate’s best selected grapes and aged for 15 months in Hungarian oak barrels. An outstanding wine that can stand up to many of the world’s top wines.

About the Konyári winery

The Konyári winery is a pioneer of wine production at the Lake Balaton. Founded by János Konyári in the ’90s, his son Dániel is now in charge of operations after studying in Bordeaux and exploring vineyards around the world. Their wines are known for their good balance, reliable and constantly rising quality as well as their willingness to experiment with new styles. They are constantly exploring the land of their vineyards and are creating fascinating wines in the process. They grow a large range of grape varieties and both their reds and whites are great values. János was named Winemaker of the Year in Hungary in 2008.
