The estate wine of the Szepsy winery, made every year by carefully blending Furmint grapes from different parcels within the vineyard. The Szepsy Furmint is one of the defining and classic Hungarian white wines and has been a leader in the dry Furmint revolution in Tokaj.
Green-golden color and intense character; pear and apple notes balance out the rich minerality and fiery acidity of the Tokaj soils. The wine is fermented with natural yeasts in oak barrels and left on the lees for 5 months before further aging and bottling.
