Takler

Like many winemakers in the South of Hungary, the Taklers are a family with Swabian roots that have been producing wine since the 18th century, After fall of the Eastern Bloc, Ferenc Takler was one of the first to restart quality winemaking in Szekszárd.

Nowadays, his sons András and Ferenc Jr. have joined him and together, they continue to produce to top-quality red wines in the warm southern climate of Szekszárd, focusing on a mix of traditional grape varieties and styles such as Kékfrankos, Kadarka and Bikavér , as well as international varieties such as Syrah and Cabernet Franc.
