The current top wine of the Heimann family’s new natural range, Heimann & Fiai (Heimann & Sons). Harvested from 50-year-old vines from the Baranya vineyard, this wine is a true showcase of its exceptional terroir. Bright and vibrant, it balances refined red fruit flavors like cherries and red currants with a silky texture and layers of acidity and tannins that evolve beautifully in the glass. Subtle earthiness and elegant spices add depth and structure.
Wild fermentation, using 20-40% whole bunches, which strengthens the wine’s lively, vital fruit character. Aged in a mix of Hungarian oak barrels, concrete tanks and clay amphorae for 10-15 months, bottled unfiltered and unfined, with minimal sulphites. “Szívem” means “My Heart” in Hungarian, a name that reflects the importance of this wine to the family as well as its approachable, warm character despite its complex style. A wine to savor slowly.
