Szóló Víz 2020 (Bio)

Víz (“Water”) is a Furmint from Tokaj with an elegant and smooth style, made with natural techniques. Soft fruit flavors of pear and grapefruit mix with volcanic flavors from the rhyolite-based soils that the wine comes from, with a thirst-quenching, round style and an elegant structure.

Hand-harvested from 40-year-old vineyards and pressed in whole bunches, fermented with natural yeasts in steel tanks and made with minimal human intervention. Bottled unfiltered and unfined, with no added sulfur.

About the Szóló winery

Szóló is a young winery in the town of Tállya in the Tokaj wine region, run by Tímea Éless. The winery focuses on making wines as close to nature as possible, with minimal human intervention, using organic techniques, focusing on the expression of the grapes and the terroir they are grown in. Clean, layered and sophisticated wines that bring a refreshing new touch to one of Hungary’s classic wine regions.
