The Kreinbacher winery is focusing intensely on putting sparkling wines from Somló on the map, and they are already some of the best we have tasted from Hungary. Brut Nature is a sparkling wine made from chardonnay, furmint, pinot blanc and pinot noir grapes and bottle-aged for at least 22 months before release, with no added dosage, resulting in a bone-dry, crisp wine. Apples, pear and toast flavors paired with an elegant and fine texture. A sparkling wine that’s astoundingly modern yet undeniably from Somló.
