About the Konyári winery

The Konyári winery is a pioneer of wine production at the Lake Balaton. Founded by János Konyári in the ’90s, his son Dániel is now in charge of operations after studying in Bordeaux and exploring vineyards around the world. Their wines are known for their good balance, reliable and constantly rising quality as well as their willingness to experiment with new styles. They are constantly exploring the land of their vineyards and are creating fascinating wines in the process. They grow a large range of grape varieties and both their reds and whites are great values. János was named Winemaker of the Year in Hungary in 2008.
