Gizella Tokaji Cuvée Furmint/Hárslevelű 2024

A fruity and very drinkable Furmint–Hárslevelű blend from one of our favorite small winemakers in Tokaj. The fruitiness and richness of the Hárslevelű grape, combined with the firm structure of the Furmint grape make for a wonderful sunny white full of juicy fruit notes. 65% Furmint and 35% Hárslevelű, fermented in whole bunches without any barrel aging.

About the Gizella winery

Gizella is a small one-man winery in Tokaj, run by László “Laci” Szilágyi, a warm and cheerful winemaker who named the estate after his grandmother Gizella. Where Tokaj is often known for its strict, mineral wines, Laci shows a friendlier, more approachable side of the region.

His wines are juicy, round and rich, easy to drink and offering wonderful value. The focus is on Tokaj’s classic grapes Furmint and Hárslevelű, often blended as a cuvée, with ripe fruit, apricot and tropical notes over a mineral core. Wines that make you want to pour another glass.
