Sauska Chardonnay 2024

A smooth and clean Chardonnay from Sauska’s Tokaj vineyards. Typical Chardonnay notes of melon, honeysuckle and white fruits mix with Tokaj minerality in a carefully balanced wine. Made with cold-harvested and cold-pressed grapes to retain a fresh and lively character while bringing out the characteristic flavors of the grape.

About the Sauska Tokaj winery

The Sauska winery in Tokaj and its twin winery in Villány are known for creating modern, cutting-edge wines and constantly experimenting with new styles. Founded by Krisztián Sauska, a Hungarian expatriate from California, this winery has been turning out some exceptionally clean and bright white wines lately. Apart from traditional grape varieties such as Furmint, Hárslevelű and Yellow Muscat, they also grow international varieties such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and blend them, creating new styles and flavors in a very traditional wine region.
