Juhfark is one of Hungary’s ancient grapes, and is most commonly found in Somló and North Balaton. Wines made from Juhfark are elegant yet robust, with strong mineral notes and good acidity. The Kreinbacher Juhfark is a rich, ripe wine full of green fruit and minerality, and it’s one of our favorite examples of the complex and fascinating wines this grape variety can produce.
Our Tip: Somló wines take some time after opening the bottle to breathe and show their full flavor. Open the wine a little in advance and you’ll enjoy it much more than if drinking it right after opening.
