Tóth Ferenc Egri Bikavér Superior 2022

This Bikavér Superior is a confident, structured expression of Eger’s flagship red blend. Based on Kékfrankos and complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Pinot Noir, it balances regional character with depth and polish.

The colour is medium-deep with brick-red hues. The nose opens slowly, showing slightly rustic notes of leather, dark chocolate, spice and paprika, followed by blackcurrant and blackberry on the palate. The tannins are ripe and well integrated, the acidity firm but supportive, and the oak adds gentle spice and a touch of smokiness on the long finish.

A serious, layered Bikavér that stays true to its origins, combining tradition, structure and modern balance without excess.
