Márkvárt Kadarka 2024 (Bio)

A smooth, light red wine made from almost 100-year old grapes, all picked by hand and fermented with great care. Kadarka is one of the oldest grape varieties around and when done right, it produces subtle, fruity, slurpy wines with a soft, smooth character – just like this one. With great wines like this, no wonder the grape variety is making a comeback.

About the Márkvárt Winery

János “Jani” Márkvárt is a local guy from Szekszárd who grew up in a family with generations of winemaking traditions. Since reestablishing the family winery with his grandfather in 1996, he’s gradually built up a name for himself with his lively, bright and down-to-earth wines. Jani’s passion for straightforward winemaking from healthy, juicy grapes shines through his whole range.
