Sauska Rosé 2024

Whether you usually like rosé wines or not, this is one to try. Fresh and crisp with great acidity, Hungarian rosés are usually more vibrant and refreshing than many of their European counterparts, and the Sauska Rosé is no exception. Made from a blend of six different grape varieties from the South of Hungary, this wine is full of flavor and fruitiness, and is almost too easy to drink.

About the Sauska Villány winery

The Sauska winery in Villány is one of the most modern and innovative wineries in Hungary. It was established by Krisztián Sauska, a Hungarian expat from California, who also owns a winery in the Tokaj region. In Villány, Sauska create fruit-first, bold wines that include some of Villány’s most sought-after bottles. They focus primarily on red wines (mainly Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Kékfrankos) as well as a small amount of Chardonnay. Combining state-of-the-art equipment with great care and precision in the winemaking process, they are reinventing the area’s winemaking and raising the bar in Villány.
