Takler Szenta-hegyi Cabernet Franc 2020

Selected from the Szenta-hill in Szekszárd, this is a rich, juicy and sophisticated Cabernet Franc from the warm hills of Szekszárd. Notes of black fruits, plums, incense and cedar wood and a rich texture make this a wine to remember. Selected grapes, aged in 500 liter barrels for 13 months.

About the Takler winery

Like many winemakers in the South of Hungary, the Taklers are a family with Swabian roots that have been producing wine since the 18th century, After the fall of the Eastern Bloc, Ferenc Takler was one of the first to restart quality winemaking in Szekszárd.

Nowadays, his sons András and Ferenc Jr. have joined him and together, they continue to produce top-quality red wines in the warm southern climate of Szekszárd, focusing on a mix of traditional grape varieties and styles such as Kékfrankos, Kadarka and Bikavér, as well as international varieties such as Syrah and Cabernet Franc.
