Homonna Furmint-Hárslevelű 2022

This blend of Furmint and Hárslevelű is the entry-level wine from Attila Homonna, the young natural winemaker from Erdőbénye in Tokaj. It brings together the best of both classic Tokaj grapes.

Furmint lends structure, minerality and tension, while Hárslevelű adds roundness, warmth and an approachable, floral, fruity side. Together they make an elegant, easy-going white that shows Homonna’s natural signature right from the entry level. An ideal first sip into the world of Tokaj.

About the Homonna winery

Attila Homonna is a young winemaker based in the sleepy, rustic town of Erdőbénye in Tokaj. Since establishing the winery in 1999, he’s been producing outstanding wines in an elegant, sophisticated style. His wines usually require a bit of patience to open up, but once they do, they grab your attention and don’t let go. Chock-full of flavor, rich yet elegant, using nothing but natural techniques, Homonna’s wines are special in every sense.

Apart from the Tokaj region, Homonna also experiments in other areas, occasionally producing wine with his friends and colleagues around the Lake Balaton, for example.
