About the Gere Tamás & Zsolt Winery

The family winery was founded by Tamás Gere and is now run together with his son Zsolt and their families. They produce wine on 37 hectares from a wide range of grape varieties, including Hungarian classics such as Kékfrankos, Kadarka and Portugieser as well as international varieties like Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Pinot Noir.

While the Villány region where the winery is located is mostly known for its rich red wines, these wines are a touch more elegant and refined than what’s typically found in the region and are made with respect for nature and the surroundings, without harmful pesticides and industrial conventions.
