Szászi Rózsakő 2024 (Bio)

Szászi Birtok is a family-run winery based in Szigliget. Their vineyards stretch across some of the most beautiful areas of the northern shore of Lake Balaton, including the hills of Szent György-hegy and Badacsony. They have been farming organically since the early 2000s, long before it became fashionable, and their commitment to nature runs deep. They grow their own vegetables, keep bees and allow the landscape to influence all their activities.

The wines are just as natural as the estate itself — soft, smooth and full of natural charm. From clean, soft-spoken whites that reflect the volcanic soils, to vibrant, unfiltered natural reds full of character, there is a generosity and balance to Szászi’s wines that makes them easy to love. They are honest, quietly expressive wines that capture the laid-back, sunlit side of Balaton.
