Piros is Heimann & Fiai’s take on a classic wine style of the region, the Siller. Halfway between red and rosé, it has the complexity of a soft red but the freshness of a rosé. Made from two-thirds hand-harvested Kékfrankos and one-third Sagrantino grapes, some directly pressed, some crushed by foot and fermented in whole clusters with natural yeasts. Juicy, layered and fresh, it is the ideal wine for almost any summer meal.
