A blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Pinot Noir from three vineyards—Széldomb, Tavaszó, and Babszökő—Tricollis Red is Pannonhalmi Főapátság’s inviting, easy-drinking red. The result is juicy yet delicate: red berry fruit meets subtle earthy herbs and delicate spice, all wrapped in a medium body and smooth texture. It’s an effortlessly enjoyable bottle that brings structure and charm without asking too much—an ideal everyday red with a distinctly Pannonhalma character. Hand-harvested, fermented in stainless steel and aged for six months in used Hungarian oak barrels.

About the Pannonhalma Abbey winery

Pannonhalma is home to one of Europe’s oldest abbeys, where Benedictine monks have cultivated grapes for over a thousand years. Today, this long-standing tradition meets modern winemaking techniques at the abbey winery, which was re-established in 2003 and boasts a sleek, contemporary cellar nestled into the hillside below the historic buildings.
