Szóló Tűz 2023 (Bio)

Tűz (“Fire”) is the varietal Hárslevelű (literally “linden leaf”) from Szóló, the young winery of Tímea Éless in Tállya, who farms organically on the volcanic soils of the Tokaj wine region and works with as little intervention as possible. Unlike many natural wines from the region, Tűz sees no extended skin contact and shows just how graceful this classic Tokaj grape can be.

In the glass it is soft and elegant: delicate floral notes, fresh fruit and a crisp, volcanic minerality. At just 12% alcohol it stays light on its feet and remarkably drinkable. Natural wine at its gentle, elegant best.

About the Szóló winery

Szóló is a young winery in the town of Tállya in the Tokaj wine region, run by Tímea Éless. The winery focuses on making wines as close to nature as possible, with minimal human intervention, using organic techniques, focusing on the expression of the grapes and the terroir they are grown in. Clean, layered and sophisticated wines that bring a refreshing new touch to one of Hungary’s classic wine regions.
