Hummel Tramini 2024

A vibrant, natural expression of Gewürztraminer from Villány. With its unmistakable Traminer perfume full of rose, lychee, and exotic spice, this wine adds a juicy, lively twist thanks to Hummel’s minimal-intervention style. A few days of skin contact and seven months on the lees give it gentle texture and depth, while remaining fresh and expressive. Bottled unfiltered, without sulphur, and unfined. Pure, aromatic, and full of charm.

About the Hummel winery

Horst Hummel, a lawyer from Berlin, has been producing wine in Villány since 1998. Having converted to organic winemaking in 2008, he aims to bring the true nature of the grapes and soil into his wines. His style is a refreshing change compared to the heavy and rustic wines that are common in Villány. His wines are balanced, full of vibrance and energy, very drinkable yet complex and structured.
