This unfiltered, naturally made red from the shores of Lake Balaton blends mostly Zweigelt with a touch of Kékfrankos. The result: a juicy, playful, and gently effervescent wine with mellow red fruit, a touch of herbs and plenty of charm. Thanks to Tihany’s volcanic soils, it also has a subtle mineral edge that adds depth and complexity. The wine matured partly in tank, partly in used barrels, before being bottled unfiltered with minimal sulphites. Tihany a Balaton Partján (Tihany on the Shore of Lake Balaton) is a great pick for fans of light, natural reds with a scenic story to tell.
